Karen Sue Stone Magilligan Bean, 81, of New Port Richey, Florida went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2024. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Larry Bean, her children Joseph (Wendy) Magilligan, Teresa (Seth) Davidson, Daniel Bean, Erin (David) Prosman, Amy (Louis) Struikman, her twelve grandchildren, her one great grandchild, and her sister, Diana Kulwicki.
Although originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Karen moved to Clearwater, Florida with her family when she was young and graduated from Clearwater High School. She raised her children and worked in banking. After retiring from banking, she was very involved in her church and her community.
Karen had an incredible sense of fun and an infectious laugh. She always lived life to the fullest. She loved visiting Disney World and travelling to see new places. She also had an artistic eye and was the queen of crafting. She always had fun activities prepared for her grandchildren ranging from shooting rockets (she loved the space program) to making creative crafts (especially with glitter) to silly string fights and giant bubbles.
A service will be held at Bayside Church in Safety Harbor on Saturday June 29th at 3pm.
In loving memory of Karen we invite contributions to Bayside Church or I RISE in lieu of flowers. These were organizations that she was passionate about.

Larry, We are so sad to hear about Karen’s passing. Our hearts and prayers are with you and family. We are so very happy and blessed that we got to spend some time with her and you a few month’s ago. She was a gem and we know she will be missed. She is looking down at you with a peaceful smile on her face telling you don’t be sad but be happy she is now with the Lord. We love you Larry. I am grateful for the impact Karen had on my beloved wife Sherri going back to the early 1970s, when Sherri and Karen’s daughter Teri began a lifelong friendship.
More recently, I have personally appreciated the marriage of Karen and Larry, a marriage centered on Jesus Christ. I am in prayer for all the family members affected by the loss of this great woman, who is “precious in God’s sight”. Psalm 116:15: “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints”.

I am so sorry for your loss. I rejoice with you in knowing that your mother is safely in heaven with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I’m praying for you and your family that as our Lord promised, you will know His comfort and that He is with you as you walk through the valley of the shadow of your dear mother’s death.( Psalm 23:4).
