Shadowverse is known for its gameplay, especially its eight classes. But, with the release of the final expansion set, players make their final decks and utilize Shadowverse’s final rotation one last time.

For this, we’re going to list the twenty best cards that Shadowverse can offer to players both old and new.

In this list, we’ll only delve into cards exclusive to the last five sets, excluding cards from the Basic Set.

But to those who are skeptical, you might ask “Are all cards stronger than each other?”

The answer is yes and no. Yes, that card that you want to add to your deck is strong but it does come with its weaknesses.

It’s all about how the player uses it and how it coincides with the deck he/she is playing. If there’s one thing that should be important is how each player does their way of playing a deck.

Without further ado, here are the Top 20 Shadowverse Cards of the latest rotation.

20. Ruins of Aiolon

When your leader is a mad tyrant hell-bent on turning everything into machines, this is what’s going to happen to your world.

Starting with our list is the support amulet, Ruins of Aiolon.

Ruins of Aiolon is a one-cost Neutral Machina Amulet that puts a random Machina follower from your deck in your hand. It has a Countdown of one turn that when destroyed, will put a Recovery into your hand.

But, if you have more evolution points than your opponent, the player draws a card instead.

Recovery is a one-cost Neutral Machina Token Spell that restores one defense to the player and restores two defense to all allied Machina followers in play.

Ruins of Aiolon is a support card that is used by decks that rely on Machina cards. It also gives a free Recovery that is used either as a way to restore allied Machina followers' defense or use it to achieve certain conditions for specific cards. Even so, this amulet is a powerful one that helps any Machina deck to draw specific cards.

19. Naterran Peace

When you see this card’s art, one would think nature and machines can’t be at peace. Guess again, because it’s happening!

Naterran Peace is a one-cost Golden Neutral Spell that puts two World Trees into the player’s hand. Then, if at least five allied World Trees were destroyed during the match, the player restores two defense.

Naterran World Tree is a one-cost Bronze Neutral Amulet Token that has an effect when it comes into play. If there are other Naterran World Trees in play, it will destroy the one that is in play the longest. Once destroyed, the player draws a card.

Much like the Ruins of Aiolon, Naterran Peace also helps in supporting Natura decks that rely on drawing cards. It’s also used in a variety of ways such as being used as Fusion material or drawing more cards.

18. Twofold Grace

According to Shinto legend, Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi have a strained relationship due to the death of their sibling. Through this rift, the legend dictates why the Sun sets as the Moon appears and vice versa.

In this one, it’s safe to say that legend never happened in the first place.

Twofold Grace is a two-cost Legendary Neutral Spell that either summons Amaterasu or Tsukuyomi in play. Then, if the spell is played with an allied Amaterasu or Tsukuyomi in play, it will restore two defense to the player and recover one evolution point & one play point.

Amaterasu, Clearsky Goddess is a two-cost Legendary Neutral Follower Token that has Ward. Then, if it’s destroyed, it will restore one defense to the player and give him/her the effect of summoning Tsukuyomi on their turn after the next turn.

Tsukuyomi, Stormcloud Diety is a two-cost Legendary Neutral Follower that has Rush. When destroyed, she’ll deal one damage to the opponent and give the player the effect of summoning Amaterasu on their turn after the next turn.

Twofold Grace is a very adaptable card that allows the player to have followers in a match’s early turns. With Amaterasu, you have a follower with Ward and the benefit of restoring your defense once she’s destroyed.

Tsukuyomi on the other hand, is a follower that can attack and destroy enemy followers with less defense. When she’s destroyed, she’ll punish opponents by dealing one damage to them.

Both followers also have the effect of summoning one another, allowing the player to regain either of the two.

Twofold Grace has been a staple in decks such as Rally Sword and Last Words Shadow.

With these powerful effects, Twofold Grace has earned its place as one of Neutral’s most adaptable cards in its class.

17. Asuka & Shiori, Twins

These two are your average little sisters who always help their big brother. But even though they’re from our world, it is their abilities that will leave you in shock!

Asuka & Shiori, Twins is a three-cost Golden Neutral Follower that when summoned, allows the player to draw two cards. Then, if the player has more evolution points than the opponent, the player restores two defense and recovers two play points.

As one of the oldest cards in the latest rotation, these two girls have been a part of many decks since their debut. While their draw effect is good, their restoration effects are what made them the best.

This card is best played whenever the player starts with three or more evolution points than their opponent. This effect is powerful, especially for decks that rely on not their evolution points that much. It’s also a nice card that punishes opponents who used up their evolution points as a follow-up to play powerful cards after them.

With these effects, Asuka & Shiori show that power doesn’t make the card. It is the player who makes use of its effects.

16. Levi, Wizard of Ages

From the land of Rivenbrandt is a powerful mage who is known for his eccentric personality. But make no mistake, he is a mage whose powers transcend time and magic itself. His name is Levi.

Levi, Wizard of Ages, is a four-cost Legendary Runecraft Follower that deals damage to an enemy follower equal to the total allied Stack of an Earth Sigil. Then, the player adds a Crimson Sorcery in their hand and if at least seven Stacked cards were consumed in this match, the player restores one evolution point.

Then, when Levi evolves, he activates his Earth Rite effect that consumes two Stacked cards and deals six damage to the enemy leader

Crimson Sorcery is a one-cost Bronze Runecraft Spell Token that simply deals three damage to a chosen enemy.

Levi is a powerful card that relies on the player to consume seven Stacked cards. He’ll also grant the player a free Crimson Sorcery that can be used to remove a follower or deal direct damage to the opponent.

Levi is an exceptional card that can deal damage and support the player in restoring its evolution points.

15. Agyll, Purelight Prototype

Our life is always filled with purpose. While some can find it through their way of life, some can’t find them. But for him, fate always has a way to do so.

Agyll, Purelight Prototype is a two-cost Legendary Portalcraft Follower that puts a random Artifact follower (excluding itself) from your deck into your hand. It also has a Fusion effect that fuses with any Portalcraft card in your hand. When fused with a Portalcraft card, it will put two Analyzing Artifacts into your deck, if five or fewer Artifact cards are added to your deck this match.

But, if more than five were added, it will Transmute itself into Agyll, Purelight Examplar.

Agyll, Purelight Exemplar is a one-cost Legendary Portalcraft Follower that is the Transmuted version of Agyll, Purelight Prototype. When it evolves, it grants the player the effect based on the number of Artifact followers that come into play in a turn.

If it’s the first, third, or fifth, the player draws a card. Then, if it’s the second, fourth, or sixth, the player recovers one play point.

Analyzing Artifact is a one-cost Bronze Portalcraft Follower Token that allows the player to draw a card once it’s destroyed in play.

One of the most important cards in Artifact Portal, Agyll offers players the ability to utilize its Artifact followers. Its original form allows players to get a random Artifact follower from their deck.

Originally, his Transmuted effect cost three play points which makes him a bit expensive. But thanks to the recent change, players can easily play their other Artifacts without

14. Celestial Wyrm God

Celestial Wyrm God is a seven-cost Legendary Dragoncraft Follower that has Ward. When played, it will destroy an enemy follower and restore five defense to the player.

It will then banish all the cards in your deck that originally cost six play points or less. Then, if the player has at least ten play point orbs, all Dragoncraft followers in your hand that originally cost at least seven play points get their play costs halved (rounded up).

As Ramp Dragon’s signature card, Celestial Wyrm God’s effect allows the player to reduce the play costs of all high-cost Dragoncraft followers in their hand. While her ability would remove the player’s deck of all low-cost cards, the reward for being able to play high-cost followers very cheaply is an exceptional effect that all Ramp Dragon players must capitalize on.

13. Milnard, Demonic Butcher

While most people would say that Hell is a terrible place of pain and torture, this demon is a perfect example of it. With her sad*stic grin and her goal to stab humans with her spear, she relishes finding the greatest screams humans have to offer.

Milnard, Demon Butcher is a five-cost Legendary Bloodcraft Follower that has Storm and Drain. It has a special effect that if this card is banished from your deck, it will summon a copy of it and return it to your hand. Its second effect is that when this follower is added to your hand from your deck or returned to your hand, its cost changes to two and increases its attack by three and defense by one.

As some players would see banishing cards from your deck is wrong, but it is not in the case of Bloodcraft’s newest archetype, Banish Blood. The archetype’s main goal is to banish cards from their deck until they reach ten or less. Players can also draw more cards to quicken the pace.

When released, many Bloodcraft players are unable to find Milanrd’s appeal, especially in Banish Blood. But, after revising her effect and introducing cards that support her, she became a powerful follower who can deal powerful damage to the opponent and regain the player’s defense.

Milnard’s first effect also guarantees that players can use her copy as some Bloodcraft cards in the meta can banish copies and place them in their deck.

Through this, Milnard can show opponents the meaning of underestimating Banish Blood, for when the player’s deck reaches ten, their hour is up.

12. Gretina, Champion Fighter

RTS is an institution dedicated to building the future of machines. For Gretina, it is indolence that drives her to create something amazing.

Gretina, Champion Fighter is a six-cost Legendary Portalcraft Follower that has Storm and a Strike effect. Whenever Gretina attacks, if there are at least ten allied Machina or Academic followers that were destroyed in this match, it will deal three damage to all enemies in play.

She also has an interesting effect called Invocation where if certain conditions are met, she’ll immediately be summoned from the player’s deck. Her condition is that if at least ten allied Machina or Academic cards are destroyed when the player starts their turn, she will immediately be summoned to the field.

Originally, her Strike and Invocations effects only activated if only Machina followers were destroyed. But thanks to a revision, she’s able to enter the match through her Invocation.

With it, Machina Portal became one of the top-tier decks at the time and introduced players to quickly sacrifice their followers in order to invoke Gretina from the deck.

While she may be lazy and carefree, her way of inventing new ideas is what makes her a genius like no other.

11. Bayleon, Shining Sovereign

Naterra is a beautiful place filled with many forests and jungles. Its inhabitants all offer their thanks to the Great Mother, Viridia Magna, for her splendid gifts. To ensure that peace reigns over Naterra is the King of the Forest himself, Bayleon.

Bayleon, Shining Sovereign is a three-cost Legendary Swordcraft Follower that has Ward and the ability to evolve if at least ten allied cards have left play. When he evolves, he gains Storm and grants the player the effect of adding his token spell, “Luminous Blade”, whenever an allied World Tree is destroyed once per turn.

Luminous Blade is a zero-cost Legendary Swordcraft Spell Token that increases an allied Natura follower’s attack and defense by one. Then, if at least twenty allied cards have left play this match, it will increase the follower’s attributes by two instead. And if that follower is Bayleon, it will deal two damage to a random enemy follower.

As one of the few Legendary Natura cards in the set, Bayleon is a cheap and powerful follower that is mostly played during the sixth turn and onwards. His effect allows the players to stock his token spells and use them on another copy of him on the field. This is used to ensure that when he attacks the opponent, his damage will reach as high as eleven.

As King of Natura, Bayleon is a true king who will never let his subjects down in their darkest hours.

10. Elluvia, Graceful Lady

Elegance. It is one word that resonates with Edith who practices the art of fighting with grace and style. Such is Elluvia’s duty to teach young ladies that there is beauty in form and battle.

Elluvia, Graceful Lady is a four-cost Legendary Havencraft Follower that has Ward and the ability to restore one defense to all allies at the end of the turn. When she evolves, she grants the player the effect that whenever a player’s defense is restored, it increases the attack and defense of all allied followers by one.

With her healing effect, Elluvia is Heal Haven’s signature card. Once she enters play, players can capitalize on her evolve effect and ensure that their followers increase their attributes through Havencraft’s healing cards.

In the later turns, her effect is very important as it pressures opponents to find ways to destroy your buffed followers without risking their own followers' destruction.

In battle, it is important to be elegant in defeating your opponents with poise and grace.

9. Dark Alice, Foul Fairytale

Sometimes, we use fairy tales as a means to create new stories. And none knows better than Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland”. In this version, what if Alice’s wishes create a being that looks like her?

This is Dark Alice, Alice’s illusion created from her wish itself.

Dark Alice, Foul Fairytale is a seven-cost Legendary Shadowcraft Follower that has Rush and the ability to evolve if at least ten allied cards with Last Words were destroyed in this match. In her unevolved form, she also has Last Words that adds a copy of herself into the player’s hand when destroyed.

In her evolved form, she gains Storm and a different Last Words that summons a Crystallized version of herself with the Countdown reduced to two.

Her Crystallized effect costs two play points and has a Countdown of three turns. It has an effect that whenever an allied Neutral card comes into play, it will subtract the Countdown by one. Once the Crystallized amulet is destroyed, it will summon Dark Alice.

Dark Alice is a powerful Shadowcraft follower that relies on players to use Neutral cards and cards with Last Words. Luckily, the current meta has no shortage of cards that have Last Words.

Cards such as Twofold Grace summon followers that have Last Words and have the Neutral trait. For players who wish to play as cards whose sacrifice isn’t in vain, having Dark Alice as your signature card is the best.

8. Ginger, Raging Word

Words can be as dangerous as weapons. For her, it IS her weapon.

Ginger, Raging Word is a nine-cost Legendary Runecraft Follower that grants the player her token spell Scorching Curse when she’s summoned. She also has an effect that reduces her cost by one whenever a player plays a card with a trait.

If she evolves, she grants the player the effect of adding a Scorching Curse at the end of the player’s turn if there are no Scorching Curses in their hand.

Scorching Curse is a zero-cost Legendary Runecraft Token Spell that selects either an allied follower with a trait or an allied Ginger. If the chosen follower is Ginger, it will deal three damage to all enemy followers and restore three defense to the player. But, if it’s an allied follower with a trait, the player will add a copy of it and change its cost, attack, and defense by one.

Ginger is a powerful support card used in many Runecraft decks that has traits such as Mysteria and Machina. Her token spell allows players to ensure that they won’t run out of copies of their Legendary followers.

7. Castelle, Budding Mage

Lainecrest Academy is an institution that teaches the next generation of young men and women to master magic. To young Castelle, it is to make her sister.

Castelle, Budding Mage is a one-cost Legendary Forestcraft Follower that deals two damage to the chosen enemy follower. Then, if ten allied Forestcraft followers have left play this match, she adds her token spell, “Verdant Prayer”, to the player’s hand.

Verdant Prayer is a one-cost Legendary Forestcraft Token Spell that recovers one evolution point to the player. Then, if at least twenty allied Forestcraft followers have left play this match, all allied followers that cost one play point or less increase their attributes by three, gain Ward, and immunity from effects that destroy followers. Afterward, all other allied followers that cost at least two play points increase their attributes by one.

Even though she’s the youngest sister, Castelle’s ability is as powerful as her token spell. Forestcraft players are known to play this card after they reach the condition of ten allied Forestcraft followers who left play. After that, they would play it again so that they’d be able to use her token spell in later turns.

While she may seem weak, Castelle aims to be the best and make her sister proud of her.

6. Jeanne, Worldwalker

Jeanne d’Arc. One of Shadowverse’s oldest followers is constantly found as a saint and a hero. As her final version of the main game, this is one of her strongest forms.

Jeanne, Worldwalker is a seven-cost Legendary Havencraft Follower that when played, immediately restores four play points to the follower.

She has an effect whenever an allied follower is played, if it’s the third or later this turn, she will evolve and deal five damage to all enemy followers in play.

Her evolved form grants her Storm, Ward, and a powerful Strike. Whenever she attacks, all other allied Havencraft followers gain the damage immunity from the effects. Then, all unevolved allied Havencraft followers will evolve.

Much like her real-life counterpart, Jeanne is one of Havencraft’s greatest Legendary followers who cannot only grant her allies immunity from damage but also evolve them to their evolved forms.

Sheis commonly used to pressure players when playing with Heal Haven. Through those effects, she can create an impenetrable barrier of followers that can only be destroyed by damage, spells, and banishment.

By the grace of God, Jeanne is a saint who will always defend her allies through thick and thin.

5. Lubelle, Necrosheperd

Nature can be dangerous for the inexperienced. But when the spirits of the wild heed her call, she would entrance with her tales. She is Lubelle, the Necroshepherd.

Lubelle, Necroshepherd is a four-cost Legendary Shadowcraft Follower that summons a Vivifauna. Then, if the player has at least ten shadows, she will activate her Necromancy effect and summon three instead.

When she evolves, she’ll summon another Vivifauna and activate another Necromancy effect (that costs ten shadows), to give herself and her Vivifauna Storm.

Vivifauna is a one-cost Legendary Shadowcraft Follower Token that has Rush and Last Words. When Vivifauna is destroyed, it will activate one out of two random effects. It will either restore two defense to the player or add a copy of a random two-point follower that was destroyed in this match into your hand.

One of Shadowcraft’s newest followers, Lubelle can spell trouble for opponents who rarely use followers with Ward. Her Necromancy effect grants her and her Vivifauna Storm that will deal thirteen damage to the opponent.

Although her effect relies on gaining plenty of shadows, cards such as Minthe, Steward of Souls, and Atem are great for regaining Shadows that will be used by other cards.

Much like nature itself, Lubelle is a kind soul to her friends but a force when they’re being threatened.

The school is home to many dragonewts who wish to be the best in sports. They strive to be the best and it’s all thanks to Dranz’s best coach, Coach Joe.

Coach Joe, Fiery Counselor is a five-cost Legendary Dragoncraft Follower that has Ward. When summoned, he’ll deal five damage to all enemies if the total defense of all allied followers in play is equal to twenty. Then, when he evolves, he’ll proceed to deal seven damage to the opponent if his total defense is at least eleven.

He also has a Crystallize effect that banishes a card from your hand and puts a copy of it into the deck. It will also put a copy of Coach Joe and increase the defense of all Dragoncraft followers in your deck by one. Then, if the banished card has the Academic trait, the Crystallized amulet gains the effect that when destroyed, the player will be able to draw two more cards in their turn.

As the oldest Legendary Dragoncraft Follower in Rotation, Coach Joe is a powerful follower who is capable of clearing enemies and dealing high-output damage to the opponent. His Creytallize effect is also helpful for players who lack cards that increase their followers’ defense in the deck.

Since Buff Dragon also relies on Academic Followers, Coach Joe can grant players three more cards when they draw.

Like his never-give-up attitude, Coach Joe will be by your side, encouraging you to push forward, even in defeat.

3. Tetra, Sapphire Leader

In all of Aiolon’s history, its destruction came from a tyrant whose only goal was to make the world made only for machines. With fear gripped into the hearts of the people, it is a resistance made out of free-willed robots who wish to fight for their freedom. Their leader’s name is Tetra.

Tetra, Sapphire Leader is a three-cost Legendary Runecraft Follower that adds a Recovery to the player’s hand. Then, if the player played a Machina card while Tetra is in play, she will evolve.

In her evolved form, she gains a new effect that activates an effect in order. The effects are recovering two play points, dealing two damage to a random enemy follower, and adding her token spell, “Azure Blast”, into the player’s hand. This effect only activates thrice per turn.

Azure Blast is a two-cost Legendary Runecraft Spell Token that deals two damage to a random enemy four times.

Known for its powerful effects, Tetra is the best support card that a Machina Runecraft player has at their disposal. Thanks to the latest changes, Tetra is a cheaper (yet barely defenseless) follower that saves at least a play point’s worth of cards to be played after her.

She can easily be played during the fifth or sixth turn and grant players her token spell. She’s best paired with Ginger as Ginger’s Scorching Curse can add a copy of Tetra since Tetra is a Machina follower.

Players who perfect this tactic can beat the opponent with three to four Azure Blasts within the match.

Tetra may not be strong like her older sister, but her will and determination to free her people from tyranny is her dream that must be fulfilled.

2. Ladica, Nature’s Claws

“Know why they call me the Stoneclaw? Because you’d have to be dumb as rocks to fight me” - Ladica

This is Ladica, one of Naterra’s greatest fighters who can smash your face with her giant claws.

Ladica, Nature’s Claws is a five–cost Legendary Forestcraft Follower that is unable to evolve through evolution points. But, she has another effect. Whenever a player plays a Natura card, the player recovers one play point.

Then, if the player has played the fourth or later Natura card, she evolves. In her evolved form, she gains Storm and adds her token spell, “Back to Nature”, to the player’s hand.

Back to Nature is a one-cost Legendary Forestcraft Spell Token that increases the attack and defense of an allied Ladica, equal to the number of allied Natura cards that were played this turn which also includes this card. After that, it will deal five damage to a random enemy follower.

Much like her nickname, Ladica is literally a card made to break an opponent’s followers and their faces. Her condition to evolve is very easy and if the player plays enough Natura cards, she can instantly end a match. In the event that her damage isn’t enough, players can immediately return her to their hand thanks to Forestcraft’s spells.

With her giant, powerful (and fluffy) claws, Ladica’s ready to break some faces and chill.

1. Diabolus Hedone

During the Middle Ages, the Danse Macabre (Dance of Death) is an allegory that describes the almighty power of death over mankind. Such is the case of Shadowverse’s most powerful card, Diabolus Hedone.

Diabolus Hedone is a three-cost Legendary Bloodcraft Follower that has Rush and deals one damage to the player. Then, when it’s evolved, if the player has activated Wrath, she gains Storm and destroys all enemy followers in play.

While her effect is simple, it is no doubt a powerful card that can literally destroy every enemy follower in play. As Wrath Blood’s signature card, Diabolus Hedone is mostly used to clear up all enemy followers that are either immune from being targeted by effects or ones that are too strong for the player to destroy.

Diabolus Hedone is mostly used during the sixth turn and onwards, allowing players to deal high-output damage and destroy their followers.

Through her dance of despair, this demonic dancer shall bring untold ruin and agony to her enemies.
