What Lovely Mimi Did Before Fame

The Instagram sensation we know today as Lovely Mimi was born Myha Thi Luong on August 20, 1990, in the Asian country of Vietnam. Before the colorful videos, glitz, and glam she has become known for, she was just an ordinary girl who grew up within the walls of a refugee camp in the Philippines. Her family later left the camp and made their way to the United States in 1993.

While handling her business as a nail shop owner, Lovely Mimi worked towards launching a career as a musician. In September 2016, she featured the London-based boy band 5ive on her hip-hop song titled “We Don’t Care”.
